Hazel Beers, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Beers, was born at Islay, Alberta, Canada, December 9, 1912, and died at the hospital at Iowa City, Iowa, March 19, 1930.

With the family she came to the United States in 1924, and after a year's residence at Fergus Falls, Minn., the home was made at Iowa City, where she spent the remainder of her life.

She was united in marriage with Lindley Reddick, April 17, 1928. Two sons, Gene and Francis John were born to them.

Mrs. Reddick's death resulted from measles and pneumonia. Her father preceded her in death in 1926. Surviving are her husband and two sons; her mother, Mrs. Ethel Beers, and four sisters, Nellie of Rock Rapids; Mrs. Genevieve Bragg, Jessie and Marvel Beers of Iowa City; her grandmother, Mrs. Ella Barnes, of West Branch and other relatives.

Funeral services were held at two o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Baptist church, Iowa City, with the Rev. Elmer E. Dierks in charge. Burial was made in the cemetery at West Branch.
