Bob was born in Arlington, MN on December 19, 1944 the son of Ellsworth and Verna Pieschke. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy.

Bob had worked in positions from Vice President to cashier. He was most recently employed by Hy-Vee in Coralville at the express counter. His love of people endeared him to many. Customers would go out of their way to go through his line at Hy-Vee.

Bob was most remembered by those who knew him and loved him as the guy who could add joy to every day with his kindness, gentleness and his great sense of humor. He was always bringing laughter and love into our lives. He was a collector and lover of music, karaoke, nature and life memorabilia. Bob saved every card and loving message his friends and family sent his way! His faith in God and his commitment to everything he did was evident to everyone around him.

Bob is survived by his wife Marshalaa, whom he married on May 2, 1992; his children Matthew (Vanessa) Savageau of Germany and Rachel Carman; his father Ellsworth (Eileen) Pieschke; a brother, wife and daughters – Randy and Penny Pieschke, Keri and Jodi Albrecht-Beck; sister, husband and nephews – Kay and Howard Linsmeier, Paul and Tony Linsmeier.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Verna Pieschke and a sister, stillborn at birth.

We are happy for Bob that he is in a better place, laughing and talking about music, but he will be sorely missed by many. We can all leave him a legacy by loving life and enjoying a lot of laughter.

On line condolences may be directed to www.lensingfuneral.com
