Paul J. (Tony) Fridrich passed away peacefully in Solon, Iowa April 19th at the age of 93.

Born August 24th, 1922 in Wilber, NE to Anton W. and Tillie (Korbel) Fridrich. A devoted husband, father, uncle and grandfather, Tony served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II and was twice a Purple Heart recipient.

He was employed by the State of Nebraska Department of Roads before his retirement in 1987. He and Marge moved from their longtime home in Lincoln to Iowa in 2001.

He is survived by his wife Margaret (Mosier) Fridrich; sons, Scott J. (Pat) Fridrich , Westminster, CO; Kirk L. ( Lori) Fridrich, North Liberty IA; Todd A. (Susan) Fridrich, Coralville IA; and his grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to The Wounded Warriors Project or a charity of your choice.

Tony was preceded in death by parents.

A Celebration of Life is to be planned.
