Diane A. Clark, 70, of Coralville passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at her home surrounded by family.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Iowa City with Father Jeff Belger officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00am Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice.

Diane was born March 28, 1945 in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Herbert and Ethel Copple Johnson. She married John Clark on June 20, 1964 in Salix, Iowa. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Diane retired from NCS-now Pearson, in 2009. John passed away March 27, 2015.

She enjoyed gardening, reading, cheering on the Iowa Hawkeye football team and mostly importantly loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Stacia (Randy) Thompson of Sioux City, IA, Joseph (Linda) Clark of Atkins, IA, and Jennifer Clark of Iowa City; grandchildren, Calvin, Madeline, Ethan, Libby, and James; brother, Terry (Rose) Johnson of Sloan, IA; and sister, Colleen (Ken) Johnson of Sioux City, IA.

Diane was preceded by her parents and her husband.
