Richard Lee Pollock, 68, died Thursday, July 16th at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday July 21st at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City. A visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be at Cedar Memorial Cemetery.

Richard was born May 13, 1947 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Norman and Dorothy Coppess Pollock. He moved to Iowa City in 1991, where he was involved in the community and Systems Unlimited.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy, and his sister, Sandy Pollock, both of Cedar Rapids; his brother, Dennis (Vicky) Pollock of Solon; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his father and two siblings, David and Janice.
