Raymond J. Mumm

Williamsburg - Raymond J. Mumm, 76, a lifetime farmer from rural Williamsburg, died Saturday at University Hospital in Iowa Ctiy after a long illness.

Services will be a 1 p.m. Tuesday at S. Paul United Methodist Church in Williamsburg. Visitation has begun at the Uhlmann Funeral Home. Masonic services will be at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation.

Mr. Mumm was born Nov. 11, 1906, in Pilot Township, Iowa County, the son of Rudolph and Theresa (Kruse) Mumm. He married Leota Van Voltenburg March 28, 1936, in Moline, Ill.

He attended rural schools. He was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church and the Stellapolis Lodge No. 391 in Williamsburg.

Survivors include two brothers, Ivor and Wilber, both of Williamsburg.

His wife, two sons, and one brother died earlier.
