Marlene Teymer

DEFOREST, Wis. - Marlene Teymer, 45, of DeForest, formerly of Iowa City, died at her home after a sudden illness.

Services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Church in Sun Prairie, Wis. Visitation is at the Edwarson Funeral Home in DeForest. Burial will be at Oxford Junction Cemetery in Iowa.

Mrs Teymer was (born) January 30, 1938, in Iowa City, the daughter of Howard and Ethyle (Gorman) Fountain. She graduated in 1956 from Iowa City High School. She married Mike Teymer in August of 1959, in Iowa City. They moved to Davenport, living there until they moved to Sun Prairie.

Survivors include her husband: two sons, Phil and Jim, at home; two daughters, Paula Ripp of DeForest and Jackie at home; her mother of Iowa City; three brothers, Tom Fountain and Mike Fountain of Iowa City, and Pat Fountain of Mount Pleasant; and three sisters, Charlene Rozinek of Randalia, Iowa; Glennys O'Brien of Sun Prairie, and Phyllis Black of Iowa City.
