Poland Rites

LONE TREE – Services for Mrs Rosa B Poland, 81, who died Sunday at the Lone Tree Health Center, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sorden's Chapel in Lone Tree. The Rev. Albert Best will officiate, and burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery.

Mrs Poland is survived by her husband, Frank; one son, Robert of Northglenn, Colorado; two grandchildren; two half brothers, James Fountain of North Liberty and Harry Fountain of West Liberty; and five half-sisters; Violet Frauenholz of Lone Tree, Marjorie Reese of Coralville, Lucy Hesseltine of Wayland, June Allison of Iowa City and Elsie Morgan of West Liberty

Rosa Blanche Fountain, daughter of Harry Lee and Sarah Rayner Fountain, was born December 16, 1896. She married Frank Poland August 19, 1914. She died July 16, 1978.
