Herman Fountain

Herman E Fountain, 86, of Hills, died Sunday at Beverly Manor nursing home.

Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Sorden and Adams Funeral Home at Lone Tree with the Rev Bruce Klapp officiating. Burial will be in the Fountain Cemetery. Visitation starts at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Funeral home.

He was born June 17, 1890, at Lone Tree to Levi and Alda Fountain. He never married and farmed most of his life. He served in World War I and was a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by a brother, Leo, and two sisters, Sarah Adella Fountain of Hills and Celia Trout of LaGrange, Wyo. He was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
