Julia Fountain

LONE TREE – Miss Julia A. Fountain, 80, of Hills, died early today at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City after a long illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Sorden and Adams Funeral Home at Lone Tree, with the Rev. Roy Shaughnessy officiating. Burial will be in the Fountain Cemetery near Lone Tree.

Miss Fountain was born July 9, 1888, in Johnson County, to Levi and Alda Fountain.

She is survived by three brothers, Leo of Riverside, Herman of Hills, and Stanley of Hiawatha; and two sisters, Sarah of Hills and Mrs Celia Trout of Hawk Springs, Wyo.

Five brothers and two sisters died earlier.
