Obituary Fannie Adams

Fannie Adams, daughter of Frank and Catherine Kessler, was born Sept. 6, 1872 in Johnson county and died in Waterloo Jan. 29, following a lingering illness. She was granted 80 years of life, four months and 23 days of life by her Creator.

Living with her family in Johnson county, she spent her early years in that county, receiving her education in the county schools. She was united in marriage to Edward Adams in Johnson county Nov. 28 1889. To this union were born three daughters and one son. One daughter, Irene, died about 20 years ago.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. George Heaton of Central City and Mrs. Clifford Herr of Waterloo; one son, Lester, of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Mrs. Anna Shaffer of Iowa City, eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services were conducted at the Passmore funeral home Saturday by the Rev. F.G. Samek. Interment in the Lafayette cemetery.
