In France he met the love of his life Christiane Terraillon. They married in June 1940; and left for the United States, narrowly escaping the German invasion of France.
Frank worked for Douglas Aircraft through its merger as McDonnel Douglas. He retired as the Director of Program Development and Marketing for McDonnel Douglas in 1982.
After his retirement Frank and Christiane relocated to Roxborough Park, Colorado where they enjoyed volunteering as firefighter EMTs and naturalists at the Roxborough State Park whenever they weren’t traveling. Frank and Christiane moved to Cedar Rapids in 2004 where they enjoyed their golden years with their family and friends.
