Emily Rose Avakian, 14, of 2137 North Ridge Drive in Coralville, died Thursday morning, June 5, 2003, at Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines following a lengthy illness.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2003, at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Coralville, with the Reverend Steve Rachke, officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until service time Saturday at Lensing’s Oak Hill, 210 Holiday Road, Coralville.

Emily is survived by her parents, Robert and Lisbeth Avakian of Coralville, and two sisters, Anna V. and Grace M. Avakian both at home.
