Gust. L. Miller

Gust. L. Miller, 95, of 811 Orchard St., died at Beverly Manor Care Center Tuesday evening, after a short illness.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the George L. Gay Funeral Home, where visitation has begun. Burial will be in Memory Gardens.

Mr. Miller was born Aug 7, 1884, in Nathenburg, Germany, a son of William and Minta Miller. He came to the United States in 1902, where he married Gertrude Strub Nov. 24, 1914 in Iowa City.

He was employed for 33 years as a custodian at the University of Iowa and was a member of the Modern Woodsmen of America.

Survivors include three sons, Leo, Robert and Perry; two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Cooney and Mrs. Dorothy Alberhasky, all of Iowa City; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, son and brother.
