Funeral Services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Genevieve C. McGinn Glowacki, 86, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 2, 2010 at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 422 E. 10th Street, Davenport. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main Street, Davenport. Genevieve a resident of Davenport and formerly of Iowa City died Monday, December 28, 2009 in Seattle, Washington after spending a wonderful month and holiday season in Seattle with her family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. Patrick's Society Memorial, The University of Iowa Foundation in support of Dr. Kienzle or Sisters of Charity, BVM, Retirement Fund, 1100 Carmel Drive, Dubuque, IA 52003

She is survived by her children and their spouses; Vicki (Clay) Claussen, Mary (Mike) Blount, Jo Beth (Sandy) Thomas, Matt (Angela Halpen) Glowacki, Steve Glowacki, Katie (Mark) Geyer, Therese (Jim) Webster, Tony (Trish Figge) Glowacki and Margaret Glowacki; grandchildren Heather, Erin, Emily, George, Charlie, Beth, Colin, Ryan, Maggie, Grant, Delainee, Moira, Genevieve, Cavin, Leticia, Larissa, and 11 great grandchildren; siblings Sister Margaret Ann McGinn and Pat McGinn. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Gertrude Weise, and brother Thomas McGinn, and son Michael Glowacki.
