Carla Ann Voynovich Nordstrom, 45, of 9429 Macon Road passed away peacefully at home with family members by her side on Friday, Oct. 15th, 2004. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, cousin and friend to all who knew her.

She was born on May 19th, 1959 in Carroll Iowa, attended City High School in Iowa City and was a graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in Marketing. Having started her professional career in Purchasing and Real Estate she later dedicated her life to raising her two children. She spent many hours volunteering at her children’s school, caring for her animals and tending her flowers and plants. She was an avid reader and a very creative cook. Carla attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Raleigh and even during her declining health she never gave up or let go of her firm belief in the power of prayer.

Carla was preceded in death by her father Dan Voynovich of South Bend, IN.

Carla leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of 18 years, Bill Nordstrom; two daughters, Brianna and Emily and her mother Kathleen Voynovich of Iowa City, Iowa.
