Marilyn Mosle Hinkhouse, 57, West Liberty, died Oct. 28 at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 30,at Lensing Funeral Service 605 Kirkwood Ave., Iowa City. Funeral services will be Nov. 3 at 11 am at Marian Hall Chapel, Mount Carmel, Dubuque, with visitation at 10 a.m. Internment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Dubuque.

Marilyn was born in Dubuque on Oct. 21, 1947 to Arthur and Anne (Reilly) Mosle. She graduated from Wahlert High School, Dubuque, attended Clarke College, and graduated from the University of Iowa. She married Steven W. Hinkhouse on Feb. 28, 1981 at St. Joseph Church, West Liberty.

Since 1970 she has been a research assistant at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Iowa City, most recently in gastroenterology research.

She is survived by her husband Steve; her mother, Anne Mosle, and a sister, Sister Mira Mosle, BVM, both of Dubuque; her mother-in-law, Belle Hinkhouse, and sister-in-law, Ann Hinkhouse, both of West Liberty; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Sisters of Charity, BVM, 1100 Carmel Dr., Dubuque, IA 52003.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Mosle.
