Margaret Goetz Brorby, 74, of 229 N. Lucas Street, Iowa City died suddenly March 26, 2006 at Mercy Hospital.

Margaret was born on July 21, 1931 in Iowa City, IA to Carl and Margaret Lincoln Goetz. She graduated from City High School in 1949. She attended Stephens College in Columbia, MO. Margaret worked for the University of Iowa General Store in the Accounts Payable. She retired from there in 2001. Margaret was a member of P.E.O.

Margaret is survived by her four children: Michael of Houston, TX; Patrick (Patti) of East Moline, IL; Stephen (Doreen) of Lone Tree, IA; Tish of Davenport, IA; five grandchildren: John (Katie), Elizabeth Stevenson (Taylor), Joe, Alex, Sean; one great grandson James Brorby; and one brother: Carl Goetz (Janet) of Iowa City.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents.
