Sajma Pehlivanovic, 54, of 2269 Hickory Ct., died at UIHC Monday, June 12, 2006 of complications from a cerebral hemorrhage.

Sajma was born January 1, 1952 in Bosnia. She and her family moved to Iowa City seven years ago. Sajma had been employed at New Pioneer Co-op.

Sajma is survived by her husband, Zijad; her son Almir and daughter Aldijana, both of Iowa City; her mother and two sisters, all of Germany.
