Wilma D. Kinney, 70, of Iowa City died Thursday August 10, 2006 at her home following an extended illness.

Wilma was born on March 18, 1936 in Oxford, IA to Frank and Cora Koser Allen. She married Wayne Kinney on November 3, 1954. He died in 1980. Wilma worked as an in home day care provider for 23 years. She then went to work for Goodwill Industries for 16 years.

Wilma is survived by three children; Kathy Elliott (Larry) of North Liberty, Linda McArtor (Bill) of North Liberty, and Lori Isaac (Mark) of Lakewood, CO, two sisters; Lois Mae Johnson of Iowa City and Lucille Stockman of Oxford, six grandchildren; John and Amanda Elliott, Emily and Heather McArtor and Tessa and Taylor Isaac, and one great grandchild; Kaitlyn Johnston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter Barbara Kinney and a brother Warren Allen.
