Katrina S. Bristow, 24, of Iowa City, died suddenly Thursday August 2, 2007 at Mercy Hospital.

Kat was born on February 21, 1983 in Iowa City, IA to Eugene K. Bristow and Mary Rae Dvorsky. She graduated from Regina High School in 2001 and then from Kirkwood Community College in 2004. Kat was employed by Goodwill of Iowa City.

Kat was a participant in GRASP, she loved to read and always had a book with her, and she liked hiking and animals. Kat had a unique talent in artwork, especially painting and ceramics. She appreciated all the people who made a special effort to help her throughout the years.

Kat had a great sense of humor and she was developing into a fun, independent young woman.

Kat is survived by her mother Mary Rae Dvorsky of Iowa City, a sister Emilia Bristow and her husband Constantine of Bloomington, IN, and her pets Roscoe and Marigold and a special kitty, Sylvia.

Kat was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
