Ray was born March 2, 1965 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Robert and Jewell (Ellad) Irwin Trumbull. Ray was a graduate of North Linn High School and Kirkwood College, where he received an Associate of Applied Science degree. Ray married Deanna Jean Kuhn on June 25, 1988 at St. Pius X Church in Cedar Rapids.

Ray and Deanna lived in Marshalltown from 1988 to 1994, where he was employed by the Redden-Miller Office Equipment. They moved to Iowa City ten years ago. Ray had
been employed as a sales representative for Ikon Office Solutions, until becoming the Corporate Sales Consultant for The Midwest Athletic Club in Cedar Rapids.

Ray was a member of St. Mary’s Church and a past member of the Old Capitol Sertoma Club.

Ray will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, outgoing personality
and the kindness and care he extended to others. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan and enjoyed the outdoors, especially golfing, fishing and playing croquet. The most important part of Ray’s life was his wife and children. Ray cherished family time and was actively involved in his children’s lives. He will be greatly missed by all those he has touched.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to all the caregivers and friends who
have supported Ray during his illness. Many of you have shared your thoughts and feelings at carepages.com-raytrumbull1983.

Ray is survived by his wife Deanna and their children, Jessica Lee, Austin Ray and Logan Robert, all of Iowa City; his parents Robert and Ellad Trumbull of Coggon;
