Paul L. Ross, Jr., 63, of Bayard, NM, formerly of Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, IA. Died Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM following a short illness.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents Paul L. Ross, Sr. & Gladys Ross, and by his sister Mary Bernstein.

Survivors include three daughters: Tracy Ross of San Francisco, Leslie Ross of Davenport, and Shannon Ross-Sheehy of Iowa City. One son: Paul L. Ross, III, of Iowa City. Two sisters: Ruth Ann Hall of Indianola and Judith Venzke of Washington, IA.

Also surviving are grandchildren Jacob Ross-Sheehy, Emmet Sheehy, Finn Sheehy, T.J. Green, Margaret Ross and Benjamin Ross. His beloved dog 'Kota was adopted by friends and remains in New Mexico to live out his days in the land that Paul loved.

Paul was a member of Local 405 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
