Juanita M. Siders, 90, formerly of Coralville and North Liberty, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at Lantern Park Care Center in Coralville.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 am, Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Lensing’s Oak Hill, 210 Holiday Rd, Coralville with Rev. Alecia Williams officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to
Iowa City Hospice.

Juanita was born March 1, 1919 in LaPorte, Indiana, the daughter of Charles and Susan (Wentz) McAllister. The family moved to Coralville when she was a child. Juanita was a graduate of University High School. On September 5, 1940 Juanita married Edwin Siders in Coralville.

Juanita worked in retail sales in downtown Iowa City for many years. In 1972 Edwin and she moved to Topeka, KS, where she was an administrative assistant with the VA Medical Center. They
returned to the Coralville area in 1985. Juanita was civic minded. She served on the 1973 Coralville
Centennial Committee and was involved in church work. When Edwin entered Lantern Park Care Center Juanita volunteered at the care center.

Juanita is survived by her two sons, Wayne (Betty) Siders of Coralville and Glenn (Joan) Siders of North
Liberty; seven grandchildren, Aaron (Kim) Siders, Shannon Siders, Cory Siders, Greg Libenguth, Gary Libenguth, Scott Libenguth and John Libenguth; her twin sister, Wanda Weir of Coralville; nieces and nephews.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and siblings, Mildred, Leonard, Elwood and Richard McAllister.
