Mrs. Nettie Yenter Platt, 83, died Sunday at the Ocala, Fla., Hospital after a long illness.

Services and burial were today at Ocala.

She was born near Oxford on Dec. 9, 1886. She had lived in Florida the past 25 years.

Surviving are her husbadn, W.J. Platt; a son, Merrill Smith of Sacramento, Calif.; six grandchildren, a brother, Murray Yenter of Oxford, and a sister, Mrs. William Bain of Iowa City.
