Cecil McNeal, 46

Cecil L. McNeal, 46, passed on Sunday evening in his home surrounded by those who loved him.

Visitation will be Friday, April 10th, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at First Assembly of God Church, 1330 Keokuk Street in Iowa City. A celebration of life service will begin at 1:00 pm with Reverend Harold Schutte officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. Memorials may be directed to the Cecil McNeal Memorial Fund.

Cecil's skill of culinary arts was enjoyed by his community and his family. Cecil's greatest pastimes were spending time with his family and friends and honoring his Green Bay Packers. He very much enjoyed playing dominos and cards, going camping, as well as barbequing.

Cecil is survived by his loving wife Angie, daughter Nikki, sons, Terrance and Cecil Jr and adopted daughter Tashelle. Cecil had a large and very special extended family including Pops, Orbie (Melissa) and kids, Annettionet, Katrina, Mariah, Danella and Jalisa, Debe and kids Quinn (Beth), Darnetta, Aliva, Joseph, Rob and kids Rob ll, Sandra, Robyn, Yshan, Charles, Fred (Krista) and son Kayden, Jackie (Julie) and kids JR and Nikayla. Cecil also touched an enormous amount of others.

His out of town family includes his grandmother Martha; mother Georgia, sister, Fhadl; daughters, Kiana, Danisha, Tanisha and Natasha and granddaughters, Tania, Tamira, Tamiya and Joaquan.

Cecil was preceded in death by his grandfather Cecil McNeal and his father Charles Farr.
