Ann Martin, 61

Ann Martin, 61, of Coralville died Sunday, March 15, 2009 at UIHC of cancer.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 am, Thursday, March 19, 2009 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Rev. Walter Helms officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at UIHC. Arrangements are with Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service.

Ann was born Maureen McInerny on November 11, 1947 in Jamaica, New York.

Ann had been a social worker for many years prior to moving to the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City area.

She volunteered for many community organizations both in Cedar Rapids and Coralville.

Ann is survived by her brother, Thomas (Beverly) McInerny of Rochester, NY and several nieces and nephews.
