Lisa M. Adams, 17, of Oxford, died early Saturday morning from injuries she received in a motor vehicle accident in Johnson County. Lisa is the daughter of Debra and Allan Adams of Oxford. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City. The funeral service will be held at Clear Creek Amana High School in Tiffin Thursday at 10:30 am. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Tiffin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to The Lisa Adams Monument Fund -- which will assist with the monument that will be placed at Oak Hill Cemetery. Contributions are also being accepted for Lisa at Solon State Bank where a Trust Fund has been set up to assist the family with funeral costs.

Lisa was a Senior at Clear Creek Amana High School where she participated in volleyball and soccer. Lisa loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved life and always had a smile on her face. Lisa's zest for life and her independent spirit were evident in all aspects of her life and her relationships. Lisa will forever be in our hearts and our memories. Lisa's trademark hugs & kisses for all occasions will be greatly missed.

Lisa worked at Stuff Etc. in Coralville and at Education Station in North Liberty. Lisa was also attending Kirkwood Community College and planned to be a teacher.

Lisa was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandfather Carl Morrison, her Great Grandparents Marvin & Marie Seward, and her cousin Jeremy Adams.

Lisa is survived by her parents Debra and Allan Adams; one sister Ashley Adams; four brothers: John Corbin of Oxford, IA, Stephen Corbin of Oxford, IA, John Adams of Topeka KS and Sheldon Adams of Phoenix, AZ; Maternal Grandmother Carol Thompson of Eldridge, IA, Paternal Grandparents Delbert and Eleanor Adams of Larned, KS; Aunts and Uncles: Timothy and Judy Morrison of Tigard, OR; Brenda and Michael Mizer of Sugar Grove, IL; Denise Curtis of Eldridge, IA; Joyce and Lonnie Bettes of Larned KS; and Linda Fox of Larned, KS; fourteen cousins: Dusty Mizer, Lindsay Daniel, Chris Dugan, Amber Curtis, Michael Curtis, Tiffany Morrison, Tyler Morrison, Trevor Morrison, Tim Dietrich, Rebecca Dietrich, Summer Ludwig, Amber Wilder, Scott Fox, Pam Liston.
