MRS. KESSLER DIES AT 87

Mrs. Frank S. Kessler, a pioneer of Big Grove Township, passed away recently at her home near Solon, as briefly mentioned in the Press.

She was in her eighty-eight year. Her maiden name was Anna Mary Hoffman. She was married twice – to Sabines Stiles, in 1854 and to Frank S. Kessler, in 1882.

Surviving are two sons of five to her and her first husband. They are George Stiles of Wolsey, S.D.; and Mrs. Lizzie Corrigan of Flint, Mich.; and children born to herself and her second husband.

The latter are Mrs. George Kent, H.H. Kessler, and R.R. Kessler, all of Solon.

The funeral was conducted by Rev. Howard Zee. The internment was in Oak Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Kessler was a fine woman, with many friends, who will long mourn her death.
