MRS. LILLIE CARL SERVICES HELD MONDAY AFTERNOON

Died Saturday Morning at Home Following Extended Illness

Lillie Agnes MacDonald Carl, daughter of John and Susan Brown MacDonald, was born in London, England, September 16, 1864.

She came to the United States with her parents at age sixteen, living first in Missouri and then Iowa.

She married Thomas Brown in October 1885. To this union were born two children - Thomas Brown of Burlington, Iowa, and Harry Brown of Lone Tree. Mr. Brown died soon after Harry was born, on December 25, 1888.

She married F. T. Carl September 19, 1901, and to this union was born one daughter, Miriam.

Surviving are the two sons, daughter, and three stepchildren: Dr. F. F. Carl, Nichols; Elard, Unionville, Mo., and E. D. of Lone Tree.
