Kelli J.A. Olson, 34, of 3010 Kingman Blvd. Des Moines, chose to end her life, Tuesday, December 3, 2002, at her home in Des Moines.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2002, at the Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, 605 Kirkwood Avenue, Iowa City, with the Revered Judy Gingerich, officiating. There will be no visitation and burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Kelli Olson Memorial Fund.

Kelli Olson was born October 19, 1968 in Iowa City, the daughter of Kent and Floreen “Trudy” Cronk Olson. Kelli attended Kirkwood Community College and graduated with a law degree from Drake University. She was currently practicing with the Rod Jansen Law Firm in Des Moines.

Kelli is survived by her daughter, Jesica Olson of Iowa City, her grandson, Cordero Olson of Iowa City, three fathers who each shared a part in her life;
Kent Olson of Mesa, Arizona, Tom Graham of Coralville and James Brisbine of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, four sisters; Kim (Olson) Weber and her husband, Chuck of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, Ashley Brockman and Shannen Frakes and her husband, Joseph all of Brighton, Iowa, Rochelle Coursey and her husband, Mike of Mercersberg, Pennsylvania, her brother, Kale Olson of Mesa, Arizona, her dog, Robey and her soul mate, Gordy Shepherd of Adel, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Trudi Graham and her maternal grandparents.
