Sterling Daily GazetteLillian Margolin, 78, of Plantation, Florida died Wednesday, December 4, 2002.
Funeral services for Lillian will be 2:30pm Sunday, December 8, 2002 at Agudas Achim Synagogue, Iowa City, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice in Lillian Margolin’s name. Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service is handling the arrangements.
Lillian was born August 6, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Samuel and Grace (Susman) Bernstein. On August 25, 1944 she was married to Arthur Margolin in Chicago, Illinois. She helped her husband with Lil-Mar Shop, their children’s clothing store. She raised her family in Sterling, Illinois.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur Margolin of Plantation, FL, by her children, Michael Margolin and his wife Joanne of Iowa City, Iowa, by her son, Steven Margolin of San Diego, CA, by her daughter, Carolyn Hyde and her husband Richard of Germany and by her son Jeffrey Margolin and his wife Juli of Des Moines, IA. Her ten grandchildren, Rebecca, Lisa, Benjamin, Deborah, Shayna, Ari, Avi, Eliana, Adam and Sarah. By one brother, Joseph Bernstein and his wife Sandy of San Antonio, TX.
Her parents preceded her in death.
