MARCELLUS PETERS
SOLON - Marcellus J. Peters, 73, died Tuesday morning at his home in Solon .

Services will be Friday at 9:45 a.m. at the Brosh Funeral Home in Solon and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. J.J. Fath officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

A rosary will be recited Thursday at 8 p.m. at the home. Friends may sign the register Thursday after 1 p.m.

He was born, Nov. 19, 1904, a son of William and Freida Umbdenstock Peters. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Stinocher American Legion Post in Solon.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Earl Bahlmer of Solon and Louise and Irma Peters of Chicago, and two brothers, William of Chicago and Cecil of Cedar Rapids.
