SOLON- Annice Heinsius died Thursday at the Solon Care Center after a long illness. She was 98.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Solon, led by the Rev. Francis Lenoch. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery near Solon. Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Brosh Funeral Home in Solon. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Heinsius had lived in Solon since 1895.

She was born on Aug. 31, 1884, in Audubon County, the daughter of Benjamin Schaffer and Anna Kessler Schaffer. She married Ernest Heinsius on Oct. 18, 1911, in Lisbon.

She was a member of the Rebeccas for 50 years and a member of the Solon Legion Auxiliary for 40 years.

Survivors include four daughters, Mildred Huber, Winifred Ham, and Elnora Altman, all of Solon, and Dorthy Reyhons of Adel, 20 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.
