Two Articles concerning death of Mrs. Heinsius

AGED SOLON WOMAN DIES

Mrs. J.L. Heinsius, aged 70, of Solon, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Pearl Harned, at Des Moines. She had been taken to the home of her daughter several weeks ago because of poor health.

Surviving are her three daughters, Mrs. Harned, at whose home she died, Mrs. Charles Slater and Mrs. Marjorie Brosh of Solon and also one son, Ernest of Solon.

There are also eight grandchildren. Mrs. William Peters of Morse is a sister of Mrs. Heinsius.

The remains will be sent to Solon for burial. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

** HEINSIUS FUNERAL

The funeral of Mrs. J. L. Heinsius was held Wednesday (12/22/1926) at 1 o'clock at the home and 2 o'clock at the M.E. church. Rev. Stan of the M.E. church of Mount Vernon officiated. Interment was made in Oak hill cemetery.

Besides the husband, there are left to mourn three daughters, Mrs. C. W. Harned of Des Moines, Mrs. Charles Slater and Mrs. Marjorie Brosh both of Solon, and eight grand children, two sisters, Mrs. Wm. Peters and Miss Ella Umdenstock of Solon, four brothers, John Umdenstock of Mechanicsville, William of Marion, Matthias of Missouri and Charles, Okeene, Oklahoma .

Out of town relatives who attended the services are Dr. and Mrs. C.W. Harned of Des Moines, John Umdenstock of Mechanicsville, William Umdenstock of Marion, Will Umdenstock, Milo Umdenstock and James Grimm from Toddsville.
