Kenneth Fry, 82

Kenneth L. Fry, 82, of Oskaloosa, died Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. He taught for 26 years in the Iowa City school system before retiring.

His family includes his wife, Rosetta of Oskaloosa; two sons: Daniel L. Fry of Illinois and Terrance A. Fry of South English; two daughters: Patricia Nuss of Georgia, and Kathryn Stine of Illinois; 6 grandchildren; a step grandson; and a sister: Martha (& Ralph) Schlicht of Webster.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 16, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. in the Central United Methodist Church in Oskaloosa. Burial will be in the Forest Cemetery, Oskaloosa, with graveside military rites. Visitation will begin at the Bates Funeral Chapel after 11 a.m. Thursday. There will be a Masonic Rites Service Thursday at 6 p.m., and visitation with the family will follow from 6:15 -- 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be designated to either Central United Methodist Church or to the Oskaloosa veterans organizations Honor Guard.
