Bernice Evelyn Kroeger, 92, of Iowa City, died Tuesday March 13, 2007 at her home following a brief illness.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, 605 Kirkwood Ave, Iowa City. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Bernice was born on June 2, 1914 in Minnesota, the daughter of Charles J. and Clara Marie Hanson Riser. She was a graduate of Dover High School and The University of Iowa College of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse in Iowa City.

She is survived by her son Kevin Kroeger of Denver, CO, three grandchildren; Jeff Kroeger, Debbie Greene, Leslie Kroeger and her long time friend Sue Chase.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, all of her siblings and a son Gene Kroeger.
