Mary Ann Luedeman age 66 of 403 Douglass Court Iowa City died on Thursday (August 1, 2002) following a sudden illness at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. Mary Ann’s chose to be cremated with private family services at a later date. The Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation service are caring for Mary Ann and her family.

Mary Ann was born on October 30, 1935 in North Liberty the daughter of Paul E. and Hazel Miller Herring. She graduated from Tiffin High School and worked for Moore Business Forms in Iowa City for more than thirty five years.

Mary Ann’s family includes one son: Richard of Iowa City, four brothers: Gene Herring of Cedar Rapids, Robert H. Herring of Tiffin, Jack Herring of Iowa City and Paul T. Herring of Ainsworth, five sisters: Elsie Martin of Iowa City, Geraldine Gassman of Virginia Beach, VA., Irma Herring of Iowa City, Helen Davis of Charlotte, AK. and Emily Koenigsacker of Washington, IA. along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Her parents, three brothers and 2 sisters preceded her in death.
