Memorial graveside services for Donna E. Watson McAllister, 59, of Maidsville, WV, will be held at noon today, at the Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, Iowa. The Reverend DianeTownsley will officiate.

She was born October 26, 1942, in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of William and Edna, nee Grauer, Watson. She passed away April 21, 2002 in Maidsville, WV, after a long illness.

She was a member of the Monongalia Charge of the United Methodist Church, where she was very active in church work and ministry with her husband of 39 years, Reverend F. J. McAllister.

She is survived by her husband, “Mac”, children, Kristin (Harry) McIntyre of Alma, WV, Jennifer Hamilton of Proctor, WV, Jason (Debbie) McAllister of Canon City, CO; sisters Annette Bauer of New Orleans, LA and Dolores Knowles (Bruce) of Glen Ellyn, IL; and six grandchildren, Luke, Elizabeth and Sam Pratt, Terry and Charlie Hamilton, and Wil McAllister.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Watson, of Oxford, Iowa. Her mother Edna, at 99 years, of age lives in Oxford, Iowa.

Following the graveside services, family and friends are all invited to a luncheon at 12:30 p.m. at the Oxford United Methodist Church parlor, to celebrate her life.
