Carol L. McDonald, age 52 of 1259 Shannon Drive, Iowa City died Saturday, April 20, 2002 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics following a sudden illness.

A gathering time for family and frineds will be held from 6 to 8pm Friday at Carols’s home at 1259 Shannon Drive, Iowa City. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Chicago. Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service of Iowa City are caring for Carol’s family and her services.

Carol was born Septmeber 19, 1949 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of William and Helen Evelyn (Brown) McDonald. She moved to the Iowa City area about six years ago.

Her family includes a sister, Iris Revels of Los Angeles, CA, a nephew, Kris Revels of Chicago; an aunt, Viola McCarty of Michigan, and cousins and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
