Bruce E. Breazeale, age 44 of 906 E. Bloomington, Iowa City died December 24, 2001 at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City after a lengthy illness. Memorial services will be held Sunday, January 02, 2001 at 1:00 pm at the Gay and Ciha Funeral Home. His family will greet friends from noon until service time on Sunday. Memorials may be given to a Scholarship fund for Tae Kwon Do Students.
Bruce was born October 2, 1957 in Des Moines the son of Richard E. and Estyl King Breazeale. In 1976 he graduated from Iowa City West High School and then attended Kirkwood Community College. Bruce was a full time professional musician since 1977 and was a 1st degree Black Belt and an instructor of Tae Kwon Do along with being a blue belt in Kempo. He was a member of the Iowa City Astrology Club, co-president of the Eastern Iowa Ferret Association along with learning to fly airplanes.

Survivors include his wife: Shannon Price, his parents: Richard and Estyl Breazeale, one brother: Michael and wife (Betty) Breazeale, all of Iowa City, his maternal grand mother: Gladys King, of Burlington, along with several: Aunts, Uncles and Cousins

Preceding him in death where 3 grandparents, 1 aunt and 2 uncles.
