Kathy Riddle, 62, 2041 Ridgeway Drive, Iowa City, died Saturday, November 4, 2006 at the UIHC following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at 1pm at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church with Rev. Karl Divine-Koch officiating. Sunday parking will be allowed along Dubuque and Jefferson Streets from noon to 4pm, Tuesday. Burial will be at Memory Gardens. A reception will be held at the Church following the committal service. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Lensing Oak Hill Funeral Home, 210 Holiday Road, Coralville.

Kathy was born August 12, 1944 in Boone, Iowa, the daughter of Frank “Bucky” O'Connor and Jane Westberg O’Connor Seiffert. She was married to Fred Riddle August 29, 1965 in Iowa City, Iowa .

She graduated from University High School in 1962 and graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Elementary Education. Kathy was a member of PEO Chapter JF, the University Club, of which she had been a board member and Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. She was active on the Mercy Guild and was a past president of the Iowa Dental Alliance. Kathy was an avid sports fan and loved spending her free time volunteering, playing bridge, and bowling.

Survivors include her husband, Fred, of Iowa City; her children Erin Riddle of Las Vegas, Nevada and Kent (Camaren) Riddle of Boulder, Colorado; her grandchildren Connor and Kayleigh of Boulder, Colorado; her step-sister Jane (Lynn) Rowat of Iowa, City, Iowa; her step-brothers Jim (Margaret) Seiffert of Louisville, Kentucky and John Seiffert of Branson, Missouri and her sister-in-law Yvonne Wessels of Des Moines, Iowa.

Kathy’s father and step-father preceded her in death.
