CRYSTAL LAKE - Deborah "Deb" Ann Podhajsky Cram, 39, of Crystal Lake, died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.

She was born Jan. 6, 1965, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Stanley and Patricia (Wignall) Podhajsky. On Sept. 9, 1995, she married Dale Cram in Iowa City.

After receiving her bachelor's degree in psychology from Luther College in 1987, she went on to receive her master's degree in human resources from the University of Iowa in 1989.

She had been employed in human resources by Household Financial and Galileo, both of Chicago.

She was a member of the Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake.

She enjoyed spending time with her children, family and friends.

Survivors include two children, Jacob and Abigail Cram of Crystal Lake; her parents, Stan and Pat Podhajsky of North Liberty, Iowa; two brothers, Tim (Lori) Podhajsky of Fort Collins, Colo., and Greg (Penny) Podhajsky of Iowa City; her mother- and father-in-law, Charlene and Jerry Cram of Crystal Lake; two brothers-in-law, Mike (Karen) Cram of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Joel Cram of Big Canoe, Ga.; a sister-in-law, Jerri Dee (Steve) Flage of Wausau, Wis.; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

The visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral Monday, Nov. 1, at Evangelical Free Church of Crystal Lake, 575 E. Crystal Lake Ave. Pastor David Angle will officiate.

Interment will be in Windridge Memorial Park in Cary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Deb Cram Memorial Fund, in care of Home State Bank, 40 W. Grant, Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
