Leonard J. “Lenny” Rebal, 53, of 3004 E. Court Street in Iowa City, died Friday, October 20, 2006 in his home of cancer.

A Celebration of Lenny’s Life will be held Tuesday at 7:30 pm at Lensing Funeral Service in Iowa City. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:30 pm Tuesday. Private burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery in Tipton. Instead of flowers, the family requests memorials to Iowa City Hospice or Mercy Iowa City Cancer Center.

Lenny was born May 18, 1953 in Iowa City , the son of Leonard & Bernadette (Ryan) Rebal.
He graduated from Iowa City High School and on April 4, 1992 in Iowa City - married Ann Jennings. Lenny was a shift coordinator at Loparex Corporation in Iowa City for over 30 years.

Lenny was a member of County Johnson Irish and enjoyed NASCAR, trips to the casino’s and was an avid Iowa Hawkeye Fan. Foremost, Lenny enjoyed time spent with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Ann; daughter, Dr. Stacy Rebal of Iowa City; sisters, Judy (Gene) Howard and Pam (Dave) Seydel, all of Iowa City and JoAnn Rebal of Kerrville, Texas; his mother in law, Ruth Jennings of Tipton and several nieces and nephews.
