Funeral Services for Mrs. Mellinger Held in Richmond

KALONA - Mrs. Amos Mellinger II, 58, died at her home in Kalona Saturday night after an extended illness.

Elsie Sommers was born in Johnson county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Sommers. She was united in marriage in 1914 to Amos Mellinger II.

Surviving are her husband, one son, Amos III, one sister, Clare Sommers, of Kalona, and three brothers, Fred, of Davenport, Ed, of Prosser, Washington, and Rhina, Of Fox, Ore.

Funeral services were held this morning at 9 o'clock at Holy Trinity church at Richmond.
