Terry Ann Hanrahan, 56, of Iowa City, died Saturday, June 24, 2006, at her home unexpectedly.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2006, from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Lensing Funeral Service-605 Kirkwood Ave., Iowa City. Her funeral service will be held at 7pm on Wednesday at Lensing’s. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Terry A. Hanrahan memorial fund.

Terry was born October 22, 1949, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Donald Dean and Dorothy Margaret (Miller) Alberhasky.

Terry was the co-owner of CMS of Iowa City. Terry’s greatest joys were family gatherings and her grandchildren. Her family will remember her by her love for life and love for family.

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy of Laquey, MO; by her four children; Todd Johnson and his wife Nancy of Phoenix, AZ, Kris Tetmeyer and her husband Erik of West Des Moines, IA, Stef Abel and her husband Brent of Ankeny, IA, and her son, Adam Hanrahan and his wife Alison of Cedar Rapids, IA. She is survived by her grandchildren: Sara, Jacob, Madison, Grace, Rylie and Brooke. Terry is survived by special friends, Scott McLean and Brent Suther, by two sisters, Sandra Jones of Laquey, MO and Peggy Yarber of Bakersfield, CA. She is also survived by 3 nephews and two nieces. Terry is also survived by her beloved, Gar Helming of Cedar Rapids, Iowa

She is preceded in death by her father, one brother-in-law, Sam Jones, and by her Uncle Bud.
