Judith M. “Judy” Ball, 65, of 321 2nd Street in Hills, died Sunday, April 2, 2006 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City from complications of diabetes.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hills with Reverend Louis Leonhardt officiating.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Hills with a rosary at 4:00 pm and a parish wake service at 7:30 pm
Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in rural Hills. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Judith M. Ball Memorial Fund.Judy was born June 28, 1940 in Iowa City, the daughter of Alfred & Mary (Delaney) Bulechek. Judy married James Ball October 16, 1961 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Iowa City.
She was an antique dealer, operating Antiques in The Old White Church in Hills since 1970. She also operated the Antique Christmas Shop at Sycamore Mall in Iowa City for many years.
Judy has lived in Hills since 1965 and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church there and formerly attended St. Patrick’s and St. Thomas More Catholic Churches in Iowa City.
Survivors include her husband Jim of 44 years;
her children,

Jennifer Ball-Crossett & her husband Marshall Crossett of Washington
Allison Ball & special friend Jeff Pechous of Hills
Cory Ball & special friend Jessica Mrstik of Flagstaff, Arizona
Grandchildren, Austin & Ashley Reuman
Brother, Robert Bulechek & his wife Jeanette Frytown
Sister, Debbie Grimm & her husband Doug of Columbus JunctionJudy was preceded in death by her parents.
