Hello,
I found Baker and Sarah ages 25 and 26 in the 1850 federal census of (Jefferson County)Iowa.
There is a Richard age 83 living with them.

I have talked with both of you about my GGG grandfather William D. Allender of Maryland,this Richard listed as being b. in Maryland also I was thinking Richard as W.D.s father but Baker was Williams brother so could Richard have been a Grandfather or Ggrandfather living with Baker and Sarah?
This census I found on Ancestory.com.
