I don't know where James or Sophia WHITSON are buried. I am most interested in their daughter Mary Elizabeth. She married Jacob HOOBER 23 Aug 1870 in Putnam County MO (have their marriage record). It's the family of Jacob Hoober that is my main focus of research. I haven't been able to locate him or Mary E. after the 1880 census.
