Looking for information on John J. Whitten and his wife, Mercy Comfort Howard. Saw their names on the Jefferson Co. Library page. Name is located in book G7, pg 263. Would appreciate a copy of the info and any other info that may be available concerning John and Mercy. John is my gg grandfather. Family moved on to Otoe Cty. Nebraska and homesteaded there circa 1850's. Have found Mercy's tombstone in Otoe Cty, but cannot locate John.
